Well, well, well... I am a professional actor. I graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a BA in Theatre, and then went to The University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program to get my masters degree in acting. After "living" in NYC for a brief stint (working two non-acting jobs and surviving in a studio apartment with another person), I worked at The American Shakespeare Center ( formerly Shenandoah Shakespeare) in a beautiful theatre located in a tiny little town in Virginia.
I am passionate about my family, my friends, and my career. I LOVE what I get to do everyday for my job, and I have such a wonderful support system in my friends and family. All of that makes life pretty damn good!
I just finished a summer in Boulder, at the Colorado shakespeare festival after four years of being away...funny how life comes full circle sometimes...i love spending my summers there. Now I am back with my family in Texas relaxing and looking for the next gig.
I am basically a gypsy (transient, itinerant actor, nomad...whatever you like...)--i go where the work is. This has allowed me to work in some amazing places that I never thought I would get to know. Not being married or having kids has allowed me the freedom to roam wherever the next job takes me. Since graduation I have worked in North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Colorado Springs, and Boulder. I love getting to see all the beautiful parts of this country. Of course, Charles' (my amazing new best friend and spectacular webmaster) home country is pretty great, too, which I just got to visit for the first time this past May. Oh, that's England, by the way, for those of you who don't know Charles.
Other things about me--
- I love having a good time and being around others who are having a good time.
- Life is way too short for bullshit, so I don't put up with much of it.
- I believe in honesty, love and living life to the fullest for as long as you can!
